Forhad Ali (35), works as a security guard, and his mother, Shilpi Akhter, is a housewife. They lived in Cherag Ali, Tongi, Gazipur, with his parents and younger brother, Akim Hossain. On Monday, August 5th, he participated in the 'March to Dhaka' program called by the anti-discrimination student-public movement. Shaheed Samid Hossain, along with his father, Forhad Ali, actively participated in the 'March to Dhaka' program from the morning. During the program, a clash broke out between the murderous police of the autocratic government and the students and the public in front of the Azampur BNS Center in Uttara. At around five in the afternoon, Shaheed Samid was seriously injured by a bullet suddenly fired by the police. He was later rescued and taken to Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
Background of Martyrdom
Shaheed Samid Hossain was a protesting student. As a student, he was well aware of the activities of the world's terrorist organization known as Chhatra League, which is known as a brutal force. There was no crime in the world with which this Chhatra League was not involved. The century celebration of rape, gang rape, kidnapping a wife from her husband and raping her, theft, robbery, snatching, looting, murder, terrorism, disappearances, assassinations, tendering, snatching ballot boxes, stealing fish from other people's ponds, looting crops from other people's trees, occupying seats, gang room culture, turning every hall into a torture cell, beating students to death all night long, expelling students from the hall for not saluting, seat trading, eating on credit in the canteen, eating for free, torturing and even killing teachers and general students, turning every hall room into an armory, creating brothels with alcohol, marijuana, and women, illegally staying in the halls for years, demanding favors, throwing teachers into the water, and internal conflicts and clashes were common occurrences. The general public believes that every Chhatra League worker is an illegitimate child.
They cannot be born from any mother's womb. Everyone wanted to be rescued from this horrific educational institution. The anti-discrimination student-public movement came as a ray of hope. The son of the soil of Bengal, a low-income man, security guard Md. Forhad Ali, gave birth to a good son. Just as he was vocal against this injustice and oppression, he raised his son in the same way. They were people with limited income. Their dream was very limited. His son would become a diploma engineer and take over the responsibility of the family, that was all, but the killer government's pet forces did not let him live. On August 5th, for the crime of joining the anti-discrimination student-public movement, he was publicly shot and killed by the killer police unleashed by the murderous Hasina. When his friend Shakil tried to help the fallen Shaheed Samid after he was shot, he was also brutally shot. Shakil luckily survived, but Samid could not be saved. He was quickly taken to Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital, where he passed away. His last words to his mother were, "Didn't I tell you, Mom, today the government will fall."
