With the death of Hafez Anaz Billah, the country and the nation have lost a promising citizen, the best rose in the garden. Hafez Anaz Billah was born in 2000 in Kuri Kahunia village, Ashashuni police station, Satkhira district, in a respectable Muslim family. His father, Arj Ali, is a universally respected person in the area. His mother, Mosammat Anowara Khatun, wished for Anaz to become a Hafiz of the Quran. Anaz fulfilled his mother's wish. The child grew up into a beautiful, well-built, and attractive character under the love and care of his parents and the affection of his brothers. The natural beauty around him created in him devotion to the Almighty Allah, fear of God, and strong courage. To ensure he could grow up in the light of the Quran, a leading soldier in the movement to establish the Quran, his father enrolled him in a Hafizia Madrasa. After memorizing the entire Quran, he enrolled in Pratapnagar Fazil Madrasa to join the movement to establish the Quran.
Description of the Main Incident
Hafez Anaz Billah's unique character attracted people from all walks of life like a magnet. This is how Allah bestows exceptional qualities upon his chosen servants, which people can never forget. Hafez Anaz Billah greeted everyone, and if anyone said anything to him, he would just smile. Shaheed Hafez Anaz Billah regularly participated in all kinds of social and Da'wah activities. He would rush to help anyone in the community who was in any kind of danger. He was known to everyone as a philanthropist. He was always involved in all good local initiatives. From the beginning of the movement, he regularly participated in rallies. He would always say to his elder brothers and friends, "May I be martyred." Carrying the desire for martyrdom in his heart, he always participated in Islamic Da'wah activities.
Shaheed Hafez Anaz Billah participated from the very beginning in the anti-autocracy protest march that was taking place demanding quota reform. On 05.08.2024, like the rest of the country, the wave of the movement crashed in Satkhira district as well. Every part of this land, soaked in the martyr's blood, became turbulent. From noon onwards, the news of the dictator's escape spread everywhere. At 3 pm, the student-public protest march, with the participation of thousands of people, turned into a victory procession for the fall of the autocrat.
When the victory procession advanced slightly from Pratapnagar Bazar, at 4 pm, armed Jubo League and Chhatra League terrorists, led by Pratapnagar Upazila Chairman and local Awami League leader Sheikh Zakir Hossain, attacked and opened fire on the procession. At one point, many people were injured and killed on the spot by the bullets from Sheikh Zakir's pistol and shotgun. Shaheed Hafez Anaz Billah participated from the front line of the procession.
He knew that the autocratic government had fallen, so how could the Awami League terrorists have the courage to open fire publicly! He thought that maybe the terrorists would not be able to shoot anymore. But who knew that the Awami League terrorists would shoot at Hafez Anaz and the general student public like this! There is no way to tell from the outward appearance of these Awami League terrorists that they are not human beings; they are something more than ferocious animals. Sheikh Hasina has created them in such a way that there is not a single ounce of compassion in their hearts.
Those who fired the bullets are also Muslim by name, but if they were truly children of Muslims, they could not have shot at the chest in which the Quran of Allah is inscribed. Anyway, finally, dispelling all of Hafez Anaz's thoughts, the bullets of the Awami terrorists rushed towards him. Immediately, leaving behind this troubled, chaotic, and loving world, he went towards the peaceful paradise. The marching students and the public quickly took him to the local hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. He used to be at the front line of any procession. Before going to the procession on 05.08.2024, he apologized to everyone and asked them to pray for him, so that he could be martyred today. The Almighty Allah accepted him.

You finished your Hifz and got admitted to Fazil Madrasa with the hope of becoming a great scholar like Delwar Hossain Sayeedi. Among the brothers, Hafez Anaz was exceptional. His intellect was extremely sharp. Everyone in the village thought that Anaz would grow up to be a very big Maulana. His voice was very beautiful. When he recited the Quran, people would forget their hundreds of engagements and listen to his recitation.

Shaheed Hafez Anaz Billah would say to his elder brother and friends, "You pray that Allah may accept me as a martyr." Hafez Anaz Billah would tell people, "Brothers and sisters, listen! Build resistance against injustice, oppression, and tyranny. Embark on the struggle to establish the life system given by God on God's earth."
Description of the Family's Economic Condition
The martyr's other three brothers are all currently studying. His father runs a small grocery store. His elder brother is also currently unemployed. He does not have a job, so he sometimes works as a day laborer in other people's fields to try to support the family. Due to his father's illness, the shop has to be closed two or three days a week.
