Shahid Md. Imtiaz Hossain was born on April 4, 2002. He was recently married. He worked a small job at a courier service. He was on the road all day. The scenes of the movement happened right before his eyes. Seeing the police bullets in the chests of the students, the fresh blood, Imtiaz Hossain became enraged during the anti-discrimination movement that started in July. Background of Martyrdom
The general public of Bangladesh took to the streets in the July Revolution, exasperated by 16 long years of oppression, tyranny, and killings. The movement gained momentum with the participation of people from all walks of life.
The movement gradually transformed into an anti-discrimination movement. The anti-discrimination movement turned into a government overthrow movement. On August 5, the autocrat Sheikh Hasina was forced to flee. The best fascist of the century fled the country. The people were jubilant. The march of demands was then a victory procession.
Even though Hasina fled, her killer police and lathi-wielding Awami forces remained in every alleyway of the country. Imtiaz Hossain and others expressed their joy with the victory procession. The lurking killer Hasina's barbaric police indiscriminately fired on the procession, on Imtiaz's victory procession. As soon as the procession reached Doshghoria market, the killer forces opened fire.
Imtiaz was injured by a bullet. He collapsed. His fellow marchers quickly took him to the hospital. He breathed his last on August 5th at approximately 3:30 AM.
On the day of victory, a shadow of mourning descended on Imtiaz's family. His newly married wife became a widow. His parents lost their beloved son, and his siblings lost their dear brother. The celebration procession of the second independence was turned into a mourning procession by Hasina's killer police and Awami goons. Brutal killings took place on the day of victory Not only in Noakhali but also in various other places in the country. The victorious people were martyred by bullets. This killer clique should be brought to justice. The martyr's body was brought home from the hospital. After the funeral, he was buried in the local graveyard.
